The 29^th year of the Bohuslav Martinů Foundation Competition, designated for young talented musicians, is taking place from the 21^st to the 22^nd of November 2024 with the competing categories being Cembalo and Wind Instruments / flute, clarinet, and trumpet.

The undeniable winners of last year’s contest pianist Pavol Praženica and the Siebeneichener Quartet, will help the audience recall them through their presence at this year’s Concert of Laureates attending with those who will become the laureates of 2024. The programme will be comprised of selected compositions from this year’s contest, and from the repertoire of last year’s winners.  The unique format of the concert thus provides the opportunity to not only hear some amazing interpretational performances of the generation that is beginning to take the foreground but to also compare the two years of the contest across the competing fields.
